Summary:
The Glock G45 9mm weapon system with optic sights provides for a faster target acquisition, increased accuracy, and increased peripheral vision for additional threats and/or community safety concerns. Police Department sworn personnel are currently trained on and using the Glock weapon system. Police Rangemasters are certified to train sworn personnel as well as maintain and repair these weapons systems in house.
There are no local law enforcement distributors in Olathe that can provide this Weapon System.
Only (2) distributors can provide the Glock Weapon System to Police Department in this region.
Quotes were requested from Kiesler Police Supply in Jeffersonville, IN, and GT Distributors in Overland Park, KS for the trade in of 261 current Glock weapons and accessories, and the purchase of 220 new Glock weapon systems and accessories.
