Summary:
In April 2025 the Council approved a contract with Crossland Heavy Contractors for on-call construction support. The Contract supports routine maintenance and emergency repair across all operations including water, wellfield, water distribution pumping, and wastewater operations. This contract is essential to ensure rapid response to unforeseen equipment failures, minimize downtime and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Staff recommend renewing the contract with Crossland Heavy Contractors for one (1)-year term with options to extend for additional contract periods.

Financial Information:
Anticipated expenditures for the contract term are $200,000. Funding will be from the Water Production and Wastewater Treatment maintenance budgets.
