Report on Council budget priorities.

Summary:
Since 2007, the City Council has used the 10 budget priorities to set the direction for creating the annual budget. It is best practice to review these priorities annually before starting the budget process to ensure they are still reflective of the goals of the current council. The 10 priorities were presented to Council on April 16, 2024. During the presentation, Council recommended modifying priority number 8. Staff has taken the feedback that was provided and updated that priority.
