Summary:
As part of the annual budget process, the City’s Comprehensive Listing of Fees and Charges is revised. The fee resolution and comprehensive list detail the fees departments use to prepare the budget. This item was reviewed during the budget workshops this summer.
The fees and charges that will be changing in 2027 are set forth and discussed by department in Attachment B.
The proposed resolution is Attachment A. Incorporated into the proposed resolution is the list titled, “2027 Comprehensive Listing of Fees and Charges” (Attachment C).
All fees contained in the resolution and list were reviewed in comparison to fee levels in surrounding jurisdictions by the department collecting the fees. In addition, special studies of some fees were conducted by analyzing fee structures, underlying costs, and best practices.
