Summary:
This Amendment No. 1 updates the service area boundary of the current intergovernmental cooperative agreement for sewer service between the City of Olathe and Johnson County Wastewater (JCW) to include the portion of the Olathe Commons development serviced by JCW (see attached Location Map). This amendment establishes billing procedures for the additional flow (including passing through connection fees, system development fees, and usage-based charges) and ensures continued cooperation for wastewater treatment while preserving all other terms of the original agreement.

Financial Impact:
$18,000 annually in increased fees to Johnson County Wastewater from Water & Sewer Fund.
