Summary:
This project will improve Black Bob Road from 153rd Terrace to 159th Street from a 2-lane roadway to a 4-lane divided arterial section. Improvements will include pavement construction, bike lanes, curb and gutter, medians, streetlights, sidewalk and side path, storm sewers and a bridge. Additionally, this construction contract includes the mill and overlay of Black Bob Road, from 153rd Terrace to 151st Street.
On February 2, 2026, three (3) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $13,472,214.20 to $15,080,490.16 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $14,115,468.65. Superior Bowen Asphalt Company, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $13,472,214.20. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:
