Summary:
Project No. 3-C-018-22 was created by Resolution No. 20-1056 on August 18, 2020.
This project will improve safety and capacity of the 167th Street and Ridgeview Road intersection by installing a roundabout. Improvements will include pavement construction, curb and gutter, medians, streetlights, sidewalk, and storm sewers. Attachment A is map of the project area.
At this time, right-of-way and/or easements have been or need to be acquired on 11 Residential and Commercial tracts of land for the project.
This resolution (Attachment B) is the first step in the eminent domain process.
To keep the project on schedule, land acquisition needs to be completed as soon as possible. Staff will continue to negotiate with the property owners to try to reach agreements to acquire the property before using the eminent domain process.
