Summary:

This is a request to accept the dedication of land for public easements and public street right-of-way for the final plat of Stonebridge South, Second Plat located southeast of W. 168th Terrace and S. Ridgeview Road. The plat establishes lot lines and dedicates public easements and street right-of-way for thirty-five (35) single-family residential lots and three (3) tracts to accommodate the second phase for the Stonebridge South Subdivision.

 

This plat dedicates utility (U/E), sanitary sewer (S/E), drainage (D/E) and tree preservation (TP/E) easements and vacates public easements and a portion of Ripley Street right-of-way that are no longer needed. The final plat is consistent with the revised preliminary plat for Stonebridge South (PP23-0005) and the requirements of the R-1 (Single-Family Residential) District.

 

The plat is subject to a street excise tax of $0.215 per square foot of land and a traffic signal excise tax of $0.0037 per square foot of land area.

Action Needed:

1.                     Accept the dedication of land for public easements and public street right-of-way for the final plat of Stonebridge South, Second Plat (FP25-0023) (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).

2.                     Reject the dedication of land for public easements and public street right-of-way and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
