Summary:
On November 19, 2025, two proposals were received in response to Request for Proposal 25-0110 - Data Network Cabling Services & Equipment. These services are used to secure compliant, reliable data cabling and equipment for City facilities. The awarded contractor will provide comprehensive low voltage cabling installation and support services, encompassing materials and necessary support services. This includes the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage cabling systems vital for various city operations.
Staff recommends the award of a five-year contract to Electrical Corporation of America, with an additional one-year option for renewal.
The second response, provided by Savage Holdings, Inc., did not meet the minimum specifications of the RFP.

Financial Impact:
Estimated expenditures are $1,300,000.00 for the life of the contract, with the renewal option. This will be funded from individual department operating budgets or construction project funds.
