Consideration of an authorization to transfer from Stormwater - CIF Cash to the 2025 CMP Replacement and Stormwater Asset Management Program, PN 2-R-000-25.
Body

Summary:
This project provides funding for stormwater asset management projects and maintenance activities that occur during a given year. Stormwater improvements include repair and replacement of corrugated metal pipes (CMP), inlets/boxes, and culverts; stream maintenance and streambank stabilization; and stormwater improvements associated with street preservation and rehabilitation projects.
The spring and summer of 2025 were marked by numerous high-intensity storm events, which resulted in a significantly elevated incidence of sinkholes and substantial damage to stormwater assets, requiring accelerated repair efforts. To cover these unanticipated costs, staff is requesting Council approve a transfer of an additional $300,000 from the Stormwater - CIF Cash fund to the project. There are adequate reserves in the fund to cover the transfer.
