Request for the acceptance of the dedication of the land for public easements for a final plat for Atmos Service Center (FP24-0027), two (2) lots on approximately 8.57 acres, located northeast of College Boulevard and S. Green Road. Planning Commission approved the plat 9 to 0.

Summary:

This is a request to accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Atmos Service Center at Cedar Creek which will establish lot lines for two (2) lots. Lot 1 will construct a 32,307 square foot Flex Space facility for Atmos and aligns with the recently approved revised preliminary site development plan (PR24-0013) preliminary plat (RZ-12-00). Lot 2 will establish a future developable lot on approximately 1.7 acres within the overall Cedar Creek Corporate Park.

 

New utility (U/E), sidewalk (SW/E), and tree preservation (TP/E) easements are dedicated with this plat.

 

The plat is subject to a traffic signal excise tax of $0.0098 per square foot of industrial land area and included within a Streets Benefit District, and therefore, exempt from street excise taxes.

Action Needed:

1.                     Accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Atmos Service Center at Cedar Creek (FP24-0027) (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).

2.                     Reject the dedication of land for public easements and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
