Summary:
On November 20, 2025, seven (7) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $493,011.23 to $849,494.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $982,300.00. After reviewing all bids, it was determined that the lowest bidder lacked sufficient qualifications for the project and this bid was rejected. As such, Redford Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid in the amount of $531,133.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This sanitary sewer project will include installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of new sanitary sewer piping to extend sanitary sewer service to new development located east of Lone Elm Road between 167th Street and 175th Street.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin by Spring 2026 and tentatively scheduled to be completed in Fall 2026.

Funding for the Lone Elm Park Sanitary Sewer Extension Project, as approved in the 2026-2030 Capital Improvements Plan, includes:
Revenue Bonds $1,267,544
Water & Sewer Fund $ 187,000
Total: $1,454,544
