Summary:
The Stormwater Section is contracting with TREKK Design Group, LLC (TREKK) for the Stormwater CCTV Inspection Project. This project will utilize closed-circuit television (CCTV) to inspect 100,000 linear feet of stormwater pipe. The project will focus on stormwater pipes along local and collector streets in residential neighborhoods. Pipe condition data collected during this project will be used to plan for pipe replacement projects in residential neighborhoods. Condition data is also required for future pipe replacement funding applications.
Professional services provided by TREKK will include stormwater pipe inspection and condition rating characterization. Inspections will be conducted in accordance with Johnson County Stormwater Management Program (SMP) guidelines and NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) coding standards. TREKK will inspect the stormwater pipes and provide condition rating characterization for $407,696. Fifty percent of the total project cost will be provided by the Johnson County Stormwater Management Advisory Council (SMAC) program.
The project is scheduled to begin in Summer 2026.
