Summary:
Staff requests Council authorization to purchase replacement Dell servers through Prescriptive to support storage of video data generated by City-managed surveillance cameras located in City buildings and facilities. These servers replace existing server equipment that supports the retention and retrieval of surveillance video during the City’s defined retention periods.
This purchase will be made utilizing the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) DIR-CPO-5792 cooperative agreement totaling $104,122.04.
Staff recommend approval of the purchase of Dell servers through Prescriptive.
