Summary:

The following item is a request for a final plat of Her Shepherd’s Estate, a subdivision located southwest of W. 124th Street and S. Parker Street. The plat will establish lot lines for one (1) single-family residential lot on approximately 3.4 acres. The property is zoned R-1 (Single-Family Residential) District and complies with all applicable zoning and subdivision regulations.

The plat will dedicate required utility (U/E) and tree preservation (TP/E) easements. No additional right-of-way is required with this plat. The development will be served by existing public infrastructure and will take access from W. 124th Street. The plat is subject to the street excise tax of $0.215 per square foot of land area and a traffic signal excise tax of $0.0037 per square foot of land area.

2.                     Reject the dedication of land for public easements and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
