Summary:
This project is needed to improve capacity and reduce delays at the intersection. The project will construct a westbound right turn lane from Spruce Street to northbound Parker Street (K-7 Highway). Improvements will include new pavement, curb and gutter, grading, a retaining wall, and all other work necessary to complete the project.
The estimated cost for this project is $875,000 including design, utility relocations, staff time, construction and inspection.
This project is tentatively scheduled for design in 2025, utility relocations in 2025/2026, and construction in 2026.

Funding for the Spruce and Parker Geometric Improvements Project, as approved in the 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan, includes:
