Summary:
This project will replace two and a half miles of waterline along Grant Street from Dennis Avenue to Cedar Street. These mains have broken 71 times since 2011 and are beyond their useful life.
On January 22, 2026, four (4) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $4,378,420.20 to $5,314,665.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $5,836,358.30. Leath & Sons, Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $4,378,420.20. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:
