Summary:
This project will include the lining of approximately 5,800 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipes that have reached the end of their useful life. These improvements will reduce the risk of sanitary sewer overflows and sewer backups into residents’ homes and reduce the Johnson County Wastewater bill by reducing the flow of inflow and infiltration (I&I) into the Indian Creek basin.
On November, 25, 2025 two (2) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $433,850.00 to $512,598.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $621,000.00. SAK Construction, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $433,850.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in Spring 2026 and tentatively scheduled to be completed in late Summer 2026.
