Summary:
EMCOR Services Fagan has successfully provided HVAC maintenance and repair services to the City of Olathe since 2021. City Council initially approved the award of contract to EMCOR Services Fagan on December 1st, 2020.
This renewal agreement with EMCOR Services Fagan provides for a one-year contract for HVAC maintenance and service, with an option to renew for one additional year upon the written agreement of both parties.
EMCOR Services Fagan provided the City of Olathe with approximately $300,000 in HVAC maintenance and repair services in 2022 and $190,000 in 2023. This work was paid from the Facility Maintenance Fund. Staff anticipate approximately $250,000 per year in HVAC maintenance and repair service in both 2024 and 2025.
City staff recommend approval of the agreement with EMCOR Services Fagan for HVAC maintenance and repair at City of Olathe facilities.

Financial Impact:
The anticipated annual financial impact of this agreement is $250,000 in 2024 and $250,000 in 2025 to be paid from the Facilities Maintenance Fund.
