Summary:
This is a request to accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Premier Business Park, establishing lot lines for one (1) lot. The southern portion of the site was platted in 2000 (P-15-00). The northern portion of the site is currently unplatted. A preliminary site development plan (PR25-0010) was approved by the Planning Commission on June 9, 2025 for the development of two contractor storage buildings totaling 17,120 square feet.
An existing 10-foot utility easement (U/E) is being vacated with this plat and a new 10-foot public utility easement (PU/E) is being dedicated along S. Kansas Avenue. All other easements remain as previously platted, and no new right-of-way will be dedicated.
The unplatted area is subject to a street excise tax of $0.215 per square foot of land and a traffic signal excise tax of $0.0098 per square foot of land.

Action Needed:
1. Accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Premier Business Park (FP25-0021) (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
2. Reject the dedication of land for public easements and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
