Summary:
Each year, the Olathe Outdoor Sculpture Series features a rotating collection of sculptures by regional and national artists, supporting the City’s public art program and enhancing community engagement with public spaces. By leasing sculptures for one-year terms, the City is able to provide a diverse and continually refreshed art experience in a cost-effective manner.
The Olathe Public Art Committee recommends seven sculptures and four alternates for the 2026 sculpture series. Final site placement will be determined by City staff based on size, visibility, traffic patterns, and public safety considerations.
