Summary:
Olathe prides itself on being a City of Champions, encompassing a wide variety of talents, including both academic achievements and top finishes in competitive sports. The City Council is asked to recognize student accomplishments throughout the year, and Tuesday evening the following students will be honored:
Wrestling:
• Jacob Vasquez - 175lb - Olathe North
• Brett Carroll - 285lb - Olathe East (2 X champ)
• Nicole Redmond - 120lb - Olathe South (4 X champ)
• Kaylan Hitchcock - 135lb - Olathe North (2 X champ)
Bowling:
• Joseph Ouellette - Olathe North
Dance Nationals
• ONW Dance Team - National Champions in:
o Large Varsity Team Performance
o Large Varsity Pom
o Large Varsity Game Day
o Grand National Champion
The athletic directors from Olathe’s high schools will be present to introduce the students.
