Summary:

This is a request to accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Lyonz Den Townhomes, establishing lot lines for one (1) multifamily residential lot. This plat accommodates the completion of the development with four townhome units.

 

The final plat includes the dedication of new public utility (U/E) and sanitary sewer (SS/E) easements. Additionally, it vacates a portion of an existing 10-foot sanitary sewer easement, which will be relocated with this plat. All other easements remain as previously platted, and no new right-of-way will be dedicated.

 

As this is a replat of previously platted property, the plat is not subject to excise taxes.

Action Needed:

1.                     Accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Lyonz Den Townhomes (FP25-0005) (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).

 

2.                     Reject the dedication of land for public easements and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
