Approval of spending authority with Clean Energy Fuels for the routine maintenance, repair and rebuilding services associated with the compressed natural gas fueling station at 1409 S Robinson Dr.

Summary:
In late 2015, Council approved a design-build agreement with Clean Energy Fuels for the CNG fueling station at 1409 S Robinson Dr. Included in this agreement is a CNG Facility Maintenance agreement that engaged Clean Energy Fuels as the exclusive service provider to repair and maintain the fueling station to operate to the manufacturer’s original specifications and performance standards. The maintenance fee for all services, including labor, parts, and consumables associated with this agreement are $0.29 per diesel gallon equivalent (DGE) of compressed natural gas.
This agreement was for 10 years and automatically renews at the end of the initial term for up to five (5) one (1)-year additional terms. This spending authority covers all five additional terms.
