Consideration of an Agreement with Johnson County for funding the construction of the CMP Replacement: Public Safety Drive Reconstruction Project, PN 2-R-003-25.

Summary:

This Agreement will reimburse 50% of the construction costs associated with improving deficient stormwater assets along Public Safety Drive (Old 56 Highway to Hamilton Circle). During the street reconstruction project, two failing CMP stormwater pipes will be replaced with new reinforced concrete stormwater pipes.

 

This project was chosen to be funded by Johnson County’s Stormwater Management Advisory Council (SMAC) in the amount of $81,600 (50% of $163,200).  In order to accept this funding, the City must approve this Agreement with Johnson County.

 

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in Summer 2025.
