Summary:
This project will replace the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Santa Fe and Buchanan Street. The existing signal was installed in 1995 and is at the end of its useful life of 25 to 30 years. This signal has conduits and poles in poor condition and mast arms with wear due to fatigue. The project includes the replacement of the traffic signal conduits, controllers, control boxes, mast arms, poles, and attached equipment.
On July 7, 2026, three (3) bids were received and opened for the above-mentioned project. The bids ranged from $393,599.00 to $405,839.06 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $414,853.00. TLS Group, Inc, submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $393,599.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:
