Summary:
In 2004, TranSystems prepared a concept to elevate the railroad tracks on the west side of Olathe. In 2019, the City of Olathe worked with TranSystems to reexamine their concept and to look at other alternatives.
This presentation will provide information on 14 alternatives that were examined. These alternatives range from raising the entire railroad through west Olathe to options that separate individual crossings.
This presentation will also provide updated information on the next steps staff is undertaking to further examine these options.
