Consideration of an agreement with Johnson County for vegetation maintenance of the Stream Rehabilitation Near 125th Terrace project, PN 2-R-001-24.

Summary:
This project improved and stabilized 325 feet of open channel in the Northridge subdivision, south of 125th Street. Attachment A shows the location of this project.
Construction of this project is complete. This agreement is for 50/50 cost share with Johnson County’s Stormwater Management Advisory Council (SMAC) for 3-yrs of vegetation maintenance.
On September 2, 2025, the City approved an agreement for three (3) years of vegetation maintenance with VF Anderson Builders, LLC for $16,500.
In order for the City to accept County funding, the City must approve this agreement with the Johnson County SMAC program.
Vegetation maintenance is scheduled to begin Spring 2026 and be completed Spring 2029.
