Summary:
The Fire Department requests acceptance for the Price Agreement with Lexipol LLC for the annual subscription to the Lexipol Cordico Wellness mobile application. The Cordico Wellness mobile application is specifically designed for first responders providing on-demand access to relevant, trusted and effective wellness resources.
The Cordico Wellness mobile application
1. Connects fire department personnel to confidential wellness assessments, City of Olathe EAP services, Chaplain support, peer support, peer
fitness coordinators, and counseling/clinical resources.
2. Strengthen fire department wellness culture and help empower the department's peer fitness team, peer support team and Chaplain team.
3. Help firefighters better cope with the effects of critical events and chronic secondary traumatic exposure.
4. Improve firefighter decision-making, empathy, and resiliency, which in turn will enhances fire department service delivery.
5. Support fire department retirees and family members.
Staff recommends the acceptance for the Price Agreement with Lexipol LLC for annual subscription to the Lexipol Cordico Wellness mobile application.

Financial Impact:
Estimated expenses over the 5 year contract length are $98,750. Expenses will come from the Fire Department’s operating budget.
