Consideration of renewal of contract to Border States Industries Inc for the purchase of streetlight supplies for Traffic Division.

Summary:
The City previously entered one (1)- year contracts with Border States Industries Inc in September 2024 to provide streetlight supplies to maintain streetlights within the City of Olathe. These supplies include items needed to maintain our streetlights such as photocells, cabinets, controllers, wiring, fuses and other miscellaneous items. The contracts were renewed for an additional one (1)-year term in 2025.
Staff recommend combining and renewing the contracts with Border States Industries Inc for one (1)- year term with options to extend for additional contract periods.

Financial Information:
Anticipated expenditures for the contract term are $450,000. Funding will be from the Traffic Operations operating budget.
