Summary:
On April 22, 2025, two (2) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $1,727,972.00 to $1,911,662.30 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $2,096,012.00. WCI, Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $1,727,972.00. The following is a tabulation of bids received:

This project will replace the retaining wall along the south side of 135th Street between Brougham Drive and Arapaho Drive. The existing retaining wall is a modular block type wall, approximately 750 feet long and up to 7.5 feet tall, and is leaning forward throughout the entire length, up to 1" per foot.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in June 2025 and tentatively scheduled to be completed in September 2025.
