Summary:
This project will include the lining of approximately 7,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipes that have reached the end of their useful life. These improvements will reduce the risk of sanitary sewer overflows and sewer backups into residents’ homes and reduce the Johnson County Wastewater bill by reducing the flow of inflow and infiltration (I&I) into the Indian Creek basin.
On March 26, 2026 five (5) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $692,810.00 to $1,543,140.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $1,066,000.00. SAK Construction, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $692,810.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:
