title

Consideration of Resolution No. 25-1091 (PLN25-0005), requesting the City’s consent to the enlargement of the Consolidated Main Sewer District of Johnson County, Kansas for 20195 College Boulevard, located southwest of College Boulevard and S. Woodland Road.

Body

Summary:

Johnson County Wastewater (JCW) has requested the Olathe Governing Body to consider the enlargement of the Consolidated Main Sewer District of Johnson County, Kansas on approximately 1.77 acres located at 20195 College Boulevard. Approval of this request would allow JCW to provide sanitary sewer service for an existing residence. The property lies within the Johnson County Wastewater planned service area and is not currently served by City of Olathe sanitary sewer.

Since the property is within the City of Olathe corporate boundaries, the Governing Body must consent to the enlargement of the district before a petition can be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration. City staff has reviewed the request and has identified no issues to preclude the sewer district enlargement.
