Summary:
This project will upgrade the Valley Road and North Parker lift stations. The Valley Road lift station is expected to receive increased flows with additional commercial/industrial development in the immediate area. To accommodate these additional flows, pumping improvements are necessary along with piping and electrical upgrades to conform to the City’s current design standards. The North Parker lift station was constructed in 1988 and is in need of pumping improvements and piping and electrical upgrades to conform with the City’s current design standards. Both lift stations currently operate off vacuum-primed pumps and will be converted to submersible pumps.
On October 22, 2024, three (3) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $1,621,500.00 to $1,975,000.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $1,272,293.00. Infrastructure Solutions, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $1,621,500.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:
