Summary:
This annual project is in place to install new traffic signals or to replace existing traffic signals that have been identified through an inspection process to be in poor condition or beyond their useful life.
This year’s project includes the replacement of the existing traffic signal at the intersection of 135th Street and Black Bob Road. The existing signal was installed in 1993 and is at the end of its useful life of 25 to 30 years. This signal has conduits and poles in poor condition and mast arms with wear due to fatigue.
