Planning Commission approved the plat 8 to 0.

Summary:
This is a request to accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Olathe Commerce Park, Fourth Plat which will establish lot lines and dedicate public easements. The plat will establish one (1) lot and three (3) tracts for the proposed Freight Terminals and Truck Terminals and Bus/Truck Maintenance, Including Repair and Storage uses located north of Dennis Avenue and east of Pine Street. This plat and the associated preliminary site development plan (PR24-0019) are consistent with the approved preliminary plat and will be the fourth lot developed within the industrial park.
New utility (U/E), water line (WL/E), and access (A/E) easements will be dedicated by this plat. No additional right-of-way will be dedicated with this plat.
The unplatted area is subject to a street excise tax of $0.0098 per square foot of industrial land area and a traffic signal excise tax of $0.0037 per square foot of land area.

Action Needed:
1. Accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Olathe Commerce Park, Fourth Plat (FP24-0030) (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
2. Reject the dedication of land for public easements and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
