Summary:
American Equipment provided pricing to the City of Olathe for the fabrication, installation and repair of new and existing truck mounted equipment and accessories. The pricing is based on a competitively solicited contract (EV2959) between J & D Equipment, Inc., dba American Equipment Company and the City of Kansas City, Missouri.
American Equipment provides services to the City for Street Maintenance, Utilities, and Traffic Engineering. American Equipment will provide dump bodies, flat beds, snow equipment, sanders, utility bodies, hydraulic equipment, patchers, asphalt equipment, etc. to the City through the contract period.
Staff recommends a three (3) year contract with American Equipment.
