135th Street Arterial Mill and Overlay Project - Indian Creek to Pflumm Road
Kansas Avenue Arterial Mill and Overlay Project - Spruce Street to Harold Street
119th Street Arterial Mill and Overlay Project - Sunset Drive to Ridgeview Road
Black Bob Road Arterial Mill and Overlay Project - 153rd Terrace to 151st Street
Lakeshore Drive Arterial Mill and Overlay Project - Dennis Avenue to Santa Fe Street
Lone Elm Road Arterial Mill and Overlay Project - 164th Street to South City Limit
Local & Collector Street Mill and Overlay Projects (LCMO) -See street list exhibit for LCMO Group A and Group B construction locations. The projects include 64 street locations totaling 23 lane miles.
Micro Surface Project - See street list exhibit and map for MAQS Micro Surface locations. The project includes 136 street locations, totaling 55 lane miles.
Street Maintenance Curb Replacement Project - Removal and replacement of approximately 25,000 linear feet of deteriorated curb and gutter by Street Maintenance Concrete Crews in multiple locations throughout Olathe.
Street Maintenance Crack Sealing Project - Crack sealing materials for approximately 250 lane miles to be applied throughout the city by Street Maintenance Crews.
Design costs for 2027 Arterial Mill and Overlay Projects will utilize 2026 Street Preservation funding. The following projects are currently included, but are not limited to:
Old 56 Highway, Chestnut Street to Mahaffie Street
Northgate Street, Harold Street to Mill Creek
Kansas City Road, Ridgeview Road to 1,000’ North of Harold Street
Mur-Len Road, 151st Street to 143rd Street
Alternate Streets for the LCMO and MAQS Micro Surface Projects are included in the Exhibit B Street Lists document. The alternate streets are not included in the total number of primary streets and lane miles listed above with each project. These alternate streets are authorized for construction but not currently scheduled for construction. Upon completion of the scheduled primary streets, if adequate funding remains to construct some or all alternate streets, these streets may be added for construction by a change order to an existing project or bid as a separate project.

Funding for the 2026 Street Preservation Program, as approved in the 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Plan, includes:

Street Maintenance Sales Tax $16,134,208
