Summary:

The K-10 corridor from the Douglas County Line to I-435 at Pflumm Road has experienced years of growing traffic volumes, congestion, and safety issues.  The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) hired HNTB Corporation (HNTB) to study the corridor to identify alternatives for expanding and modernizing K-10.  As part of this study, KDOT evaluated installing an interchange at Lone Elm.

KDOT has since moved into design and has finished preliminary design of the interchange.  This presentation will provide an update on the current plans and potential timeline for the interchange at Lone Elm along with an update and tentative schedule for the mainline K-10 improvement project.

Staff from KDOT and HNTB will make the presentation and will be available for questions.
