Summary:
Customer expectations for transacting online with government continue to move and evolve at an accelerated pace.
Extending the partnership with Granicus, Inc. will allow Olathe continued opportunities to develop efficient and innovative practices to benefit our customers - taking the digital experience and services to the next level of excellence.
As part of the extension, the City will also implement Granicus’ Government Experience Agent (bot functionality), a future-ready interactive solution for its customers looking to engage how and when they choose.
Staff recommends award of contract to Granicus, Inc. through March 26, 2027.

Financial Impact:
The one-time cost to implement a new government experience agent solution is not to exceed $17,000. The contract renewal totals $193,000 for digital services, hosting and online customer experience components and is budgeted out of both general fund and library fund (OlatheLibrary.org).
