Summary:
On November 21, 2018, five (5) proposals were received for Fire Uniforms for the Olathe Fire Department. The contract will be utilized to purchase all uniforms needed for the Fire Department.
An evaluation team of Olathe Fire Department staff evaluated the proposals based on experience, support and expertise, online ordering capability, embroidering and screen-printing services, overall RFP response, and cost. Galls, LLC received the highest score.
Staff recommends award of a three (3) year contract to Galls, LLC with the option to extend for two (2) additional one-year contract periods.
Four (4) Olathe vendors were solicited but none responded to the RFP because they do not provide this type of service.

Financial Impact:
Annual expenditure is estimated to be $90,000. Expenditures will be charged to Olathe Fire Department Uniform Budget.
