Item Description: Consideration of authorization for Mayor Copeland to attend the 87^th Annual Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors June 27 - July 1, 2019.

Summary: The City Council is asked to approve the attached travel request and authorization for Mayor Copeland to attend the 87^th Annual Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.  More than 200 mayors will gather for the conference to set policy, share best practices, and converse with top federal officials.

Financial Impact: Funds are available in the City Council’s 2019 professional training budget.
