Summary:
On May 15, 2019, three (3) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $625,788.50 to $774,172.05 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $755,128.00. Linaweaver Construction, Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $625,788.50. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This Street Reconstruction Program project will improve 110th Street from 110th Terrace to the Cul-De-Sac at the west end, approximately 2,500 linear feet. The improvements will include full depth asphalt pavement and subgrade replacement, replacement of concrete curb and gutters, spot replacement of existing deteriorated sidewalk and ADA sidewalk ramps and concrete driveway approaches.
Construction is scheduled to begin in late June 2019 and will be completed in Fall 2019.

Financial Impact:
This project is funded from the City of Olathe’s 2019 Street Reconstruction Program authorized on September 4, 2018. Authorized revenue for the 2019 Street Reconstruction Program includes:
General Obligation Bonds $ 5,100,000
