Summary:
On May 16, 2019, four (4) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $2,246,254.00 to $2,646,236.30 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $2,122,781.50. Site Rite Construction Co. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $2,246,254.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

The Lakeview Avenue Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project includes the replacement of over 4,200 linear feet of existing gravity sanitary sewer located between Central Street and Keeler Street south of Lakeview Avenue and North Frisco Lake. These sections of gravity sewer were identified as being over capacity for peak wet weather flows in the Mill Creek Sanitary Sewer Master Plan completed in 2016. This condition has been verified by maintenance staff during large storm events.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in late June 2019 and be completed by Spring 2020.
