Summary:
The City of Olathe Taxi Coupon/Voucher Program received a multi-year grant (FTA 5310 Grant #MO-2017-011) in 2017 from Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) to provide group trips to seniors and disabled citizens of Olathe in 2017.
The First Amendment to the Section 5310 Agreement, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program between the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority and the City of Olathe allows the initial grant to be amended to provide additional time to expend grant dollars.
The attached Amendment No. 1 to the Subrecipient Agreement between KCATA and the City extends the grant agreement terms to December 30, 2020. The amount of federal grant funds remaining is $10,608. These funds must be matched with non-federal funds dollar for dollar.

Financial Impact:
The $10,608 in federal funds will be matched with $10,608 in City of Olathe General Funds and revenue from the sale of taxi rides.
