Summary:
On June 13, 2019, four (4) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $995,817.00 to $1,134,853.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $1,396,517.50. Wiedenmann, Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $995,817.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This Stormwater Improvements project will include enlarging the Loula Street culvert, channel improvements, retaining wall construction, demolition of 6 homes, and reduction of the risk of flooding of 2 other homes.
This phase is the twelfth (12th) of twenty (20) identified watershed flood control projects located in the FEMA regulated floodplain
Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2019 and will be completed in November 2019.
