Summary:
On June 25, 2019, two (2) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $1,986,295.40 to $2,060,225.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $1,898,803.00. O’Donnell & Sons Const. Co., Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $1,986,295.40. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

Mega Industries Corporation $2,060,225.00
This project includes the construction of right turn lanes and dual left turn lanes on each leg of the intersection. This is a joint project between the City of Olathe and the City of Overland Park.
Construction is scheduled to begin August 2019 and completed in November 2019.

Financial Impact:
Funding for the 119th and Pflumm Geometric Improvements Project, as approved in the 2019 Capital Improvement Plan, includes the following:
GO Bonds $ 1,625,750
City of Overland Park $ 1,325,750
TOTAL $ 2,951,500
