Summary:
The rock products will be used for street repair and other repair projects by Streets, Solid Waste and Utilities Divisions of Public Works and the Parks & Recreation Department. In 2016, the City competitively bid and awarded contracts to Johnson County Aggregates and APAC-Kansas.
Staff recommends the renewal of contracts to Johnson County Aggregates and APAC-Kansas for two (2) years each.
Five (5) Olathe vendors were notified of the bid. Two Olathe vendors (2) responded to the bid, one of whom was Johnson County Aggregates. The other three (3) Olathe vendors do not provide these products.

Financial Impact:
Estimated annual expenditures will be $80,000 to be paid from the applicable department line item budget for rock.
