Summary:
Various City of Olathe Departments provide their employees an allowance annually for new work boots and work wear. The City of Olathe has a long-standing relationship with E Edwards Workwear for work boots and work wear. E Edwards has an Olathe business location that is convenient for City staff to purchase their work boots and work wear needs and receive a ten-percent (10%) discount off all retail items. On-line orders can be sent to and exchanged at the Olathe store location without additional shipping or fees.
Staff recommends renewal of contract to E Edwards Workwear for a contract term through April 30, 2020.

Estimated annual expenditures is $70,000. Expenditures are charged to individual department budgets.
