Summary:
The Pooled Money Investment Board (PMIB) requires annual review and approval of the Investment and Cash Management Policy for granting and renewing Expanded Investment Authority. Expanded Investment Authority allows the City to invest with maturity terms for four years versus the standard two years.
Staff has reviewed the policy and recommends no changes. There have been no changes to state law regarding investments and the current policy complies with K.S.A. 12-1675.
Attached is the Investment and Cash Management Policy.
Staff recommends the adoption of the policy to remain in compliance with the PMIB policy.
